વક્રતુંડ યુવક મંડળ વૈકુંઠ સોસાયટી, વાઘોડીયા રોડ, વડોદરા ખાતે દર વર્ષે ગણેશ ઉત્સવનું આયોજન કરે છે — ઘર નંબર 752 થી 1000 સુધીના તમામ પરિવારોના સહયોગથી, સંપૂર્ણ પારદર્શિતા સાથે. Vakratunda Yuvak Mandal organises the annual Ganesh Utsav at Vaikunth Society, Vaghodia Road, Vadodara — with the support of every family from house 752 to 1000, and complete transparency in every collection and expense.
વક્રતુંડ યુવક મંડળની સ્થાપના આજથી લગભગ 15 વર્ષ પહેલાં થોડાક ઉત્સાહી યુવાનો દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી હતી, જ્યારે વૈકુંઠ સોસાયટીમાં ગણેશ ઉત્સવ ખૂબ જ સાદગીથી, મર્યાદિત સાધનો અને મુઠ્ઠીભર ઘરોના સહયોગથી ઉજવવામાં આવતો હતો. શરૂઆતના વર્ષોમાં ચંદો હાથોહાથ એકત્ર કરવામાં આવતો અને નાના મંડપમાં માત્ર એક નાની મૂર્તિની સ્થાપના કરવામાં આવતી, પરંતુ ભક્તિ અને ઉત્સાહ ક્યારેય ઓછા નહોતા. Vakratunda Yuvak Mandal was founded nearly 15 years ago by a small group of enthusiastic young residents, at a time when Ganesh Utsav in Vaikunth Society was celebrated modestly — limited resources, a small murti, and support from just a handful of houses. Contributions were collected door-to-door by hand, but devotion and enthusiasm were never in short supply. વર્ષોવર્ષ સહભાગિતા સતત વધતી ગઈ. જે ઉત્સવ મુઠ્ઠીભર ઘરોથી શરૂ થયો હતો તે આજે ઘર નંબર 752 થી 1000 સુધીના તમામ પરિવારોને જોડતો એક સામુદાયિક ઉત્સવ બની ગયો છે. દર વર્ષે નવા પરિવારો જોડાયા, યુવા સ્વયંસેવકોની ટીમ મોટી થઈ, અને કાર્યક્રમોનું સ્વરૂપ પણ — આરતી, કથા, સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમો અને વિસર્જન શોભાયાત્રા — વધુ સમૃદ્ધ બનતું ગયું. Participation grew steadily, year after year. What began with a handful of houses has become a community-wide celebration spanning every family from house 752 through 1000. New households joined each season, the volunteer team grew larger, and the festival itself grew richer — daily aarti, katha discourses, cultural evenings, and a proper visarjan procession all became part of the tradition. માત્ર ઉત્સવ પૂરતું મર્યાદિત ન રહેતાં, મંડળે સમાજસેવાના અનેક કાર્યો પણ હાથ ધર્યા છે — જરૂરિયાતમંદ પરિવારોને સહાય, પર્યાવરણ-મૈત્રીપૂર્ણ ગણેશ મૂર્તિ અને વિસર્જનનો આગ્રહ, અને સોસાયટીના વરિષ્ઠ નાગરિકો તથા બાળકો માટે ખાસ કાર્યક્રમોનું આયોજન. આ પ્રયાસોએ મંડળને માત્ર એક ઉત્સવ સમિતિ નહીં, પરંતુ સમાજનું એક વિશ્વસનીય અંગ બનાવ્યું છે. The mandal's work has never stopped at the festival alone — it has taken up community initiatives too: support for families in need, a firm commitment to eco-friendly murtis and immersion, and dedicated programs for the society's senior citizens and children. These efforts have made the mandal not just a festival committee, but a trusted part of the community's everyday life. પારદર્શિતા એ મંડળનું મુખ્ય મૂલ્ય રહ્યું છે. દરેક ઘરનું યોગદાન, દરેક રસીદ અને દરેક ખર્ચ ચોખ્ખા હિસાબ સાથે નોંધવામાં આવે છે અને સમગ્ર સોસાયટી સાથે ખુલ્લેઆમ શેર કરવામાં આવે છે — જેથી દરેક દાતાને પોતાના યોગદાનના ઉપયોગ અંગે સંપૂર્ણ વિશ્વાસ રહે. આ જ પારદર્શિતાના મૂલ્ય પર આ એપ્લિકેશન બનાવવામાં આવી છે, જેથી ડિજિટલ યુગમાં પણ એ જ વિશ્વાસ જળવાઈ રહે. Transparency has always been the mandal's core value. Every house's contribution, every receipt, and every expense is recorded with a clean, running account and shared openly with the whole society, so every donor can trust exactly how their contribution is used. This very value of transparency is what this application itself was built to carry forward into the digital age.
